Ball Exercise 20: "System Balance"
Challenge your core and thigh muscles with this playful movement (no ball required!)
This is twenty of a set of 24 exercises that get you back into your body, stretching key tech-influenced body parts, and add a little play and peace to your day.
Day 20: “System Balance”
This blends core and hamstring work with a little playful challenge.
Place a ball on the soles of your feet, and balance it—no gripping!
Make small pelvis movements: twist the legs to turn the ball, bend and straighten the legs, etc.
Rest as needed, then repeat!
If your hamstrings are tight…
Bend your knees as much as you need to
Elevate your pelvis with a folded/rolled towel
If you don’t have a ball…
Hold a pillow up on your feet
